Privacy Policy
This policy explains which personal data we process when you visit mail1.local-editions.com and use the contact form, for what purposes, and what rights you have.

Managing Director: Junaid Din
Email: performancebote@performance-lead.com
This website is operated under the brand Performancebote. For all data protection matters, please contact us at the address above.
2. Server log files and hosting
Each time you access this website, our web server automatically stores information that your browser transmits: IP address, date and time of the request, requested page, HTTP status code, amount of data transferred, referrer URL, browser type and version, and operating system.
This data is processed to deliver the website and to ensure its stability and security. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the secure and error-free operation of the website. Log files are deleted after 7 days at the latest unless longer storage is required to investigate a specific security incident.
This website is hosted by an external service provider who processes the data on our behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
3. Contact form and email
If you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process the data you provide (name, email address, type of request, message) as well as the time of the request and the domain through which you contacted us.
We use this data solely to handle your request, e.g. to unsubscribe you from a newsletter, to answer requests for information or deletion, or to answer other questions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR in conjunction with Art. 12 et seq. GDPR, where you exercise your data subject rights; Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, where your request relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures; and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in answering enquiries).
Your request is forwarded internally by email to the team responsible. We delete the data as soon as your request has been fully handled. Where we must be able to prove that we have handled an unsubscribe, information or deletion request, we retain the necessary documentation for up to three years (Art. 6(1)(c) and (f) GDPR, Art. 5(2) GDPR).
4. Spam protection (security code, session cookie)
To protect the form against automated misuse, we use our own image-based security code. No third-party services (e.g. Google reCAPTCHA) are involved, and no data is transmitted to third parties.
For this purpose, a technically necessary session cookie (kf_sid) is set. It contains only a random identifier, which links the security code and the form to your visit. The cookie is deleted when you close your browser. Its use is based on Section 25(2) No. 2 of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
To prevent mass submissions, we also store a one-way hashed (non-reversible) value derived from your IP address together with the time of submission. This value is automatically deleted after two hours at the latest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
5. No tracking, no external content
This website does not use analytics or tracking tools, advertising cookies, social media plugins or external fonts. All content is delivered from our own server.
6. Recipients and transfers to third countries
Recipients of your data are only our hosting and email service providers, acting as processors bound by our instructions. We do not intend to transfer your data to countries outside the EU/EEA.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). If you have given consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR).
Right to object: Where we process your data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR). You can object to the use of your data for direct marketing at any time without giving reasons.
To exercise your rights, simply use our contact form or write to performancebote@performance-lead.com.
8. Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is: Der Hessische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit, Gustav-Stresemann-Ring 1, 65189 Wiesbaden, Germany.
9. Data security
This website uses TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by "https://" in your browser's address bar.
